Former Labre employee, Eric Schneider, continues his mission program in the Dominican Republic. Joined by his wife Kindsey, daughter Makenna, and young son Gentry, the Schneider family is doing wonderful things for the Kids Alive International, a program that Eric and Kindsey served as interns for while in college.
During their mission, Eric works to maintain equipment and improvements for the program, acts as a team host and pursues initiatives in agriculture. Kindsey works in communicating with teachers and house parents to set up a tutoring program to help improve the education of 70+ kids, acts as the child sponsorship coordinator and directs summer program activities.
Following the birth of their son, Gentry, a few months ago, Eric and Kindsey are settling into their home in the Dominican Republic, and plan on staying for an extended period of time. For more current updates on the Schneider family, join their Facebook group “Serving with the Schneiders”. You may also choose to support their ministry by visiting their profile on Kids Alive International.
While at Labre, Eric worked with our technology and data management. It is encouraging to know that he is continuing his passion for agriculture during his time in the Dominican Republic. Our team continues to keep the Schneider family in our thoughts, and we wish them the best of luck and safety during their mission!
