Employee Eric Schneider recently left the Labre Crop Consulting, but not to join another company. He and his wife, Kindsey and their daughter Makenna, are off to Jarabacoa in the Dominican Republic for a three year-long mission program.
This is not the couple’s first trip to the DR. Together they served as summer interns for Kids Alive International while they were both studying at Iowa State University. After being back in the states for a few years, they felt God’s call to serve again.
During their mission, Kindsey will work with children, communicating with the teachers at ANIJA while also housing parents at the Ark, setting up tutoring programs and help improve the education of 70+ children. She will serve as the child sponsorship coordinator at the Ark, and direct the summer program activities. Eric will be able to meet the needs of maintaining equipment and improvements at the Ark and other locations, acting as work team host at the Ark. He is also excited to pursue initiatives in agriculture along the way.
Eric and Kindsey have seen God working throughout their lives to bring them to where they are today in mission work for orphans and kids as risk. They are excited to see how God will use them in Jarabacoa!
The entire Labre team is very proud of Eric and Kindsey, as they begin their mission abroad helping children. We wish them much luck and safety during their new adventure!
